Bailey G. Rogers, 19, was operating the ATV on Mashapaug Road in Union just get of I-84 at about 8:15 a.m. when the vehicle left the roadway and hit a log that was on the ground before crashing into a group of trees, police said.
Rogers was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call Connecticut State Police at 860-896-3200.
